At JA of Wichita, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

JA Wichita Skills to Achieve Symposium 2023 (COPY_1683167175270)
When: Thursday, April 27, 2023Junior Achievement of Kansas is partnering with Butler Community College, Wichita Public Schools and a number of businesses in the community for the Skills to Achieve Symposium JA Careers Success Program with an emphasis on Construction jobs. The date is April 27, 2023, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Location is Butler Community College, 5000 Building in Andover, KS.
The JA Career Success program equips students with the tools and skills required to earn and keep a job in high-growth construction industries.

This event annually honors members of the Wichita business community who have shown an ability to be successful not only in business, but in their commitment to the local community and state as a whole.
The Class of 2023 includes: Jill Hattan, Don Hattan Dealerships and Pink Saloon boutique; Todd Lair, Leading Technology Composites, Inc. (LTC); Larry D. Fleming,The LDF Companies; and Ron Draper, Textron Aviation.

When: Tuesday, March 08, 2022The 27th annual Junior Achievement of Kansas Wichita Business Hall of Fame will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. This event annually honors members of the Wichita business community who have shown an ability to be successful not only in business, but in their commitment to the local community and state as a whole.
The Class of 2022 includes: former Mayor Carl Brewer (posthumously); Drs. Pat and Sylvia Do, Mid-America Orthopedics and Internal Medicine; Junetta Everett, Delta Dental of Kansas (retired); Ben Hutton, Hutton; and Jim Lee, Lee Aerospace.

When: Sunday, October 17, 2021Grab your paddle for the JA Pickleball Tournament at Chicken N Pickle on October 17. Teams of 2 are $120 and that includes gift cards to use at CNP. Also be ready to wage war... a raffle war to get the items you most want AND need!

When: Thursday, May 06, 2021 - Saturday, April 30, 2022Junior Achievement and Wichita Public Schools partnered bring Wichita and Kansas students a virtual career fair/symposium to Pre-K through 12th grade students along with college students and our community members.
